As a result, the primary goal of NVH design is to optimize the energy absorption of the vehicle. Large-scale linear dynamics are typically employed in NVH analysis. This course focuses on applying the linear dynamics capabilities in Abaqus to NVH-related simulation.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Topics_include\"><\/span>Topics include:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Natural frequency extraction<\/li>\n<li>Sound radiation analysis (acoustics)<\/li>\n<li>Nonlinear preloading effects<\/li>\n<li>Brake squeal analysis<\/li>\n<li>Constraints and connections<\/li>\n<li>Material modeling and damping<\/li>\n<li>Substructures<\/li>\n<li>Advanced NVH postprocessing (via plug-ins)<\/li>\n<li>Conversion of Nastran to Abaqus (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_Should_Attend\"><\/span>Who Should Attend<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">While this course is primarily intended for engineers with experience using Abaqus, it does include appendix material to assist engineers with knowledge of finite elements who are new to Abaqus and Abaqus\/CAE. The additional appendix material is included to provide guidance for users translating Nastran models to Abaqus.
